Who is responsible

Your private practice
Your questions, interpretations, journal notes, mood selections, saved cards and journal photos are stored locally in the app. We do not send these contents to analytics or advertising services. Device backups may include app data according to your operating-system settings. Journal cloud synchronization and AI processing are not currently available.
Purchases
Apple processes App Store payments. RevenueCat helps us validate purchases, restore access and manage subscription status. It receives transaction and product identifiers, subscription dates/status, an app-generated customer identifier and technical app/device information. We do not receive your full payment-card details. See https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
Optional app analytics
If you enable analytics in the app, Google Analytics for Firebase receives app interaction events, app-instance identifiers and technical usage information. Events include screen views, learning actions and purchase-flow outcomes, without journal text, questions, photos or search text. The Firebase app-instance identifier is shared with RevenueCat to associate subscription lifecycle events with app analytics. Analytics is optional and can be disabled in Settings; disabling future collection does not automatically erase already processed records. See https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Advertising
Advertising tracking is not active in the current build. We do not send journal content to advertising platforms. Any future advertising tracking will be disclosed and subject to applicable choices and platform permissions before activation.
Permissions and exports
Camera/photo access is requested when you add a journal photo. Notification permission is requested when you enable reminders. Exporting or sharing a PDF sends the file only to the destination you choose; that destination has its own privacy practices.
Website and support
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, tracking pixels or third-party fonts. Hosting providers may process normal security/access logs including IP address, requested URL and browser information. If you email support, we process the contact details and information you send to handle your request.
Purposes, retention and international processing
We process purchase data to provide paid access, optional analytics with your consent, and limited security/support data to operate the service and answer requests. Local journal data remains until you delete it or remove app data, subject to device backups. Support and service records are retained as needed for their purpose and applicable obligations. Our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their applicable data protection terms and safeguards.
Your choices and rights
You can disable analytics, revoke system permissions, delete journal entries, and manage subscriptions separately. Contact [email protected] to request access, correction or deletion of data we control. We may need information to locate your record and verify your request. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, portability and a complaint to a data protection authority. We do not sell your journal content or use it to train AI models.
Children and updates
Tarovelle is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data. We update this notice when the service changes and show the effective date above.
